Today I've uploaded my first CSS skin, for byteme.gr! We were discussing (with the other guys in byteme) the possibility of a Chrismtas skin, in order to dress up for the holidays and we made it happen!

When it came down to CSSing, I thought it will be hard to apply such a global change, but thank god it was very very easy! How did I do it? Very easy. I applied an extra CSS file (it was the last one called byt the page), and replaced all the parts that the skin will effect and voila...

So when I want to change the skin again, all I have to do is remove the CSS file and the site will return back to it's original theme! Ain't that cool? The true power of CSS! I know it's trivial CSS knowledge, but it's first time I've ever applied it.

In case you have never heard of byteme.gr (which is normal since a new site, in Greek) it's actually a Gaming - Technology - Lifestyle portal. Don't let the (XX)XMas skin fool you, to think anything different we wanted to draw attention :) and I think we did it...

Now that the main theme is ok, I need to fix two things: A) Fix position the background so it remains static (but I have to find a solution for the logo to stay put) and B) make it snow with jSnow! jSnow will be upgraded to support images, since it will rain INVADERS in byteme!
